PRP is a leading processor of coniferous timber in Slovakia. Its main commercial products are construction timber, prisms, beams and battens and planks. The company also handles subsequent transport of materials.

You will find the company's products in almost every place. The wood is used in the construction of houses, furniture and art installations. It is all around us.

Why did we invest?

  • The investment of the sub-fund VERSUTE Private Equity Otevřený helped PRP, operating in the stable wood processing industry, to grow significantly and achieve a leading position in the Slovak market.
  • PRP's management has built a dynamically growing business with a sector-high EBITDA margin.
  • We have succeeded in setting up highly automated production with technologically advanced and sustainable processes. For example, wood chips from wood processing are used in heat production.
